Juja Member of Parliament (MP) Francis Munyua Waititu has passed away after a long illness at MP shah Hospital.
The sad news was echoed by fellow MPs and Senators who sent their messages of condolences to the legislator’s family and heap praise of his hard work.
“It was a sad evening today as we lost yet another Member of Parliament, the Hon. Francis Munyua Waititu, MP for Juja. He was a brave and cheerful member, full of hope despite the circumstances.” Said Hon. Amos Kimunya.

“My dear friend Hon Francis Munyua Waititu Rest In Peace. A truly humble man from Mwana Mukia in Gïthurai who rose to become a supervisor in Kenya Canners now Delmonte in Thika and later MP Juja twice. Fare thee well son and champion of the poor and downtrodden” Said Senator Isaac Mwaura.
“My deepest sympathies go out to the family of the late Juja MP Hon. Francis Munyua Waititu (Wakapee). May God give you the peace that you seek. My most sincere condolences.” Said Nick Salat.
The sad news comes at a time when the country is yet to lay to rest Bonchari MP Oroo Oyioka who passed away last week. Still in the same month of February, the country is still mourning the death of Senator Yusuf Haji.
