Juventus set to sack Andrea Pirlo and appoint Allegri

Juventus is all set to sack their current manager Andrea Pirlo and instead appoint Massimiliano Allegri as his replacement.

“Allegri will be announced soon as new Juventus manager – Pirlo will be sacked.” Said Fabrizio Romano.

The news comes barely a week after the Italian assured Juventus fans that he is there to stay despite speculation over his future following the club’s performance in the just concluded season.

Despite managing a top four finish, the Serie A giants held the fourth position with 78 points, 13 points less than league winners Inter Milan. Fear now surround’s the future of Christiano Romaldo who was rested on their last clash of the season.

The Portuguese star has heavily been linked with a return to Manchester United even though no official statement has been released by the star’s management and the club itself.

Less the an hour ago, rivals Inter Milan confirmed the appointment of Simone Inzaghi as their new coach following the departure of former Chelsea coach Antonia Conte.
