Traders in Kakamega held a demonstration after their structures were brought down by bulldozers under following an order by Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

The irritate traders revealed that the demolitions were done to pave way for Health CS Mutahi Kagwe who was visiting the Town on Saturday.

They further revealed that it the Governor wanted to make the Town look appealing to the CS ahead of his visit.

A motorcade for the Health CS was forced to use an alternative route when the traders threw stones at it and even blocked the road.

Same was a motorcade for the Governor which was blocked before his security team tackled their way through them.
