Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has on Thursday shelved his Presidential ambitions and rejoined former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja camp.
Speaking from SKM Center in Karen, Nairobi, the Wiper party leader also extended his unwavering support for Hon. Raila Odinga’s running mate choice Martha Karua.
Musyoka has now accepted the Chief Minister position, a position that he was given by Raila Odinga in May when he unveiled Martha Karua as his running mate choice.

The news will now put to end a meeting between the Wiper party leader and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Saturday where he is expected to present his Presidential forms.
Kalonzo met leaders from Ukambani region who convinced him to rejoin Azimio La Umoja as it would ensure that needs of the people of the region are met unlike him going solo and unsure of a win come August.
Even though Kalonzo is back, his stand has been shaky from the start causing discomfort within the Azimio camp. His presence is a major boost as it will attract two million votes from his region.
