Kanye West joins the billionaire list, says Forbes

American rapper Kanye West has officially joined the billionaire’s yatch club as confirmed by Forbes.

According to Forbes magazine the rapper is worth $1.3 billion thanks to his shoe line under the name Yeezy.

Yeezy footwear is reported to be selling a pair of shoes for $200 in the US thus the source of his wealth.

Previously, Kim Kardashian’s husband was engaged to Nike before dropping them and joing rivals Adidas in 2015.

The magazine revealed that for years the rapper has been asking them to list him but they declined citing lack of evidence.

Other sources of income for West include a real estate company that he runs.
