Kanye West has sued Roc-A-Fella records a company previously owned by Jay-Z and EMI a company that helped him launch his career.
Kanye West is suing both companies in what he terms as owing that a lot of his rights from his previous agreement with them.
In two separate lawsuits filled by Kanye West, the rapper clams that he signed an exclusive agreement with Roc-A-Fella and he is asking for a declarations from his rights and would like to be paid.
In the second lawsuit against EMI, Ye says that the company owes him a lot in terms of music.

By the end of 2011 Kanye West is said to have signed a contract with EMI leading to the release of his breakthrough album “College Dropout”During that time Kanye’s songs rights were handed to EMI.
In what looks like a serious battle, Kanye West has hired some of the firms to represent him and would like the judge to review the rights under the contract.
