KCAA staff dies after jumping from Mombasa control tower

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has confirmed the demise of one of their staff after jumping from the control tower at Moi International Airport.

The Friday event has been termed by KCAA boss as unfortunate and they are saddened by his death at the Mombasa control tower.

The family of the deceased has already been informed of the demise as staff on duty during the fateful day are undoing counseling to cope with the loss.

Speaking following the incident, KCAA boss Gilbert Kibe has said that the board and management stand with all Air Traffic Control Officers during this difficult time.

In addition to that, their thoughts and prayers go to the family of the deceased as they send their deepest sympathy.
