A police officer and a KCSE candidate are in custody after being caught in a lodging in kilgoris, Narok county.
The administration police is said to have booked a room in local lodging and was planning to spend the night with the girl who is a student at Sankale Secondary school.
Confirming the incident was Transmara Deputy County Commissioner who said that they arrested the duo moments after they had checked in the lodging.
He however added that thy will ensure that KCSE candidate sits for the rest of the papers without any interruptions.
Parents have however been urged to look after their daughters to ensure that cases of early pregnancies do not happen to young girls in the country.
In the meantime, the owner of the lodging risks having his license revoked for allowing a minor into the joint.
Pregnancy cases
The arrest comes days after the government condemned the high number of pregnancy cases among students most of which being candidates in the ongoing KCSE.
Last weeks some of the candidates sat their exams in hospital after delivering a day to or during the national exams.
The government called on parents to watch their children and ensure that this cases remain are something of the past.
