Legendary country music star Kenny Rodgers has passed away at the age of 81.
According to close family sources, Kenny Rodgers died peacefully at his home from what they termed as natural sources.
The three-time Grammy award winner ruled charts around the world back in the 1970s and ’80s.
Some of his best music selections include Lucille, Coward of the County and The Gambler.
Other awards Kenny has received include a Lifetime achievement award from the Country Music Association and inclusion in the Country Music Hall of Fame back in 2013.
He was not only involved in music but he had other ventures including real estate and restaurant businesses.
One of his famous quotes was when he said his songs were purely what every man wants to say and what every woman wants to hear.
The late Rodgers has left behind five children.
