Four people are feared dead after an aircraft from the Kenya Airforce crashed in Voi, Taita Taveta County.
The Tuesday incident was confirmed by the Kenya Defense Force identifying the aircraft of model Harbin Y-12.
At the time of the accident, the aircraft had departed from the Moi Air Base in Eastleigh before crashing at the Tsavo East National Park.

“Today 12 Jan 21, mid-morning, a Kenya Air Force aircraft, model Harbin Y-12, crashed in Voi, Taita Taveta County. The aircraft was from Moi Air Base, Eastleigh, Nairobi. Recovery efforts are underway.” Said Kenya Defense Forces.
Witnesses at the scene confirmed seeing ambulances rushing to the scene of the accident with the are being condoned from the public.
Among those feared dead are two colonels, a major and a private passenger with all identities yet to be confirmed.
