A Kenya Airways plane destined for South Africa was on Wednesday forced to abort to take off following a false bomb alert at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.
Commotion is said to have begun when a passenger shouted the word bomb inside the said plane that was getting ready for take-off.

The passenger was later handed over to the Anti-Terror unit for further investigation.
In the meantime, JKIA was sent into a temporary lockdown as the screening was done on every plane at the busy airport.
