Energy CS Charles Keter appoint new Kenya Power CEO

Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter has today announced acting Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Power.

Engineer Jared Omondi will now be the acting Chief Executive of Kenya Power together with ten other members.

The announcement comes after top Kenya Power official were arrested by Directorate of Criminal investigation for charges of Ecomomic Crime.

The investigations include transformers, labour and transport contracts.

Assuring members of the public, Kenya Power issued a public notice assuring Kenyans of uninterrupted services during this time.
