On Saturday the Ministry of Health has confirmed 105 new cases of COVID-19 in the country from 2,868 samples tested.
This now brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to 36,829 and the number of samples collected and tested to 514,482.
Out of the 105 cases, 103 of them are Kenyans and 2 foreigners aged between two-years and 75-years.The number of males is 83 and females 22.

Nairobi takes the lead with 35 new cases, Busia 15, Mombasa 9, Bungoma 8, Kiambu 4, Nakuru 4, Bomet 4, Garissa 4, Taita Taveta 4, Kajiado 3, Kakamega 3, Kisumu 3, Machokos 2, Meru 2, Kitui 2, Trans Nzoia 2 as Murang’a, Nyeri and Laikipia recorded a case each.
The number of recoveries have gone up to 23,777 after 68 patients were confirmed to have recovered from the virus. The recoveries comprise of 38 home-based patients and 30 from various hospitals.
On a positive note, no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours leaving the number of confirmed fatalities to 646.
