Kenyan boy gifted by Mesut Ozil appointed the Visa ambassador

A Kenyan boy who was gifted by Arsenal Midfielder Mesut Ozil has on Tuesday been appointed the Visa Escort Players ambassador.

The young herdsboy’s story was first photographed by sports journalist Erick Njiru who spotted him wearing a self-made Ozil t-shirt as he tendered his family’s cows.

The photo was shared and retweeted until it got the attention of Mesut Ozil who gifted him and his brothers.
