Kenyans rush to supermarkets following coronavirus news

Kenyans rushed in numbers in different supermarkets across the country following a coronavirus announcement on Friday morning.

Supermarkets were surprised as thousands purchased in bulk basic goods wiping clean some shelves.

Not only were basic commodities bought but also essential and recommended items of presentation were also bought.

Some of the items included sanitizer gel and Dettol among many others.

Chemists were also flooded with orders that included surgical face masks, surgical gloves, and sanitizer gel.

Fear is slowly being felt among many Kenyans over what they say prices will go up in the coming days.
