Ten more people have succumbed to COVID-19 virus in the last 24 hours rising the number of fatalities in the country to 787.
Confirming the latest updates was Health CAS Rashid Aman who said 318 new cases of the virus were recorded in the past 24 hours.
The CAS confirmed that the new cases are from a total of 2,592 samples tested bringing to 41,937 the cumulative number of confirmed cases and 595,791 the cumulative number of samples tested.

Aman also confirmed 243 new recoveries out of which 132 of them are from home-based care and 111 from various hospitals. This brings to 31,340 the number of confirmed recoveries.
