Rapper Khaligraph Jones, King Kaka, Timmy Tdat among other artist are made at Music Society of Kenya (MSCK) over their payment.
This follows a revelation by Khaligraph Jones who displayed the amount of money received from MSCK on Instagram.
From a rapper who is trending at the moment, Ksh 2500 seems so little that he warned them from collecting revenues on his behalf.
“MCSK Siku Moja Tutakuja Kuwavuruga uko Mbaya Sana, Msijaribu kunitumia izi peanuts tena, Infact I have given Authorization for my Music to be pirated.
Don’t collect money on my Behalf anymore, Nisiskie mmeshika mtu akicheza Wimbo zangu kwa street, msinitumie izo peanuts zenu tena.” Said Jones
The same amount of money has also been received by several artists including King Kaka and Timmy Tdat begging the question is that the entire amount they have collected?
King Kaka posed to do as simple math that if they have paid all artists a fixed amount of Ksh 2500 and the total number of members is 15,000, does it mean the society received Ksh 37,500,000?
He continues by bashing them at how they are now driving new cars from the initial boda boda rides they took.
It is not the first time Kenyan artists are complaining about society. Several meeting and complaints have been directed at the complaints are back again.
