Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi will remain in custody for three more days pending his bail ruling.
Mr. Gideon Saburi was arraigned before Mombasa Court to answer to charges of going contrary to health act on COVID-19 quarantine.
The Kilifi Deputy Governor was ordered to be taken to Bandari Police Station pending his bail hearing set for Thursday.

According to the office of the DPP, they pleaded with the court to have him detained at Manyani Maximum Prison.
In their argument, they pointed out at how residents of his county have been angered by his actions following his return from Germany.
Also affected by his action was Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi who called on the law to take its course in dealing with his deputy.
