Kirinyaga man drags two year old boy to a bar

A 30-year olf man from Kirinyaga County has been arrested for forcing a 2-year old baby to take alcohol.

The Christmas day incident is reported to have happened when the casual laborer forcefully dragged the boy to a nearby bar and ensured he was drunk.

The area Chief identified by Nation as David Muriithi learnt of the incident before he reported to the police.

He was arrested and detained at Nguka Police Station as the police conducted their own investigation.

Angered by the crime, Mr. David Muriithi said the accused must face the law as he called on parents to be more vigilant of their young ones.

He continued by blaming Kirinyaga County Government for licensing local bars without taking consideration some important issues.

The two-year old boy was taken for treatment by his parents before he was discharged.
