Kisumu International Airport is scheduled to be closed on Tuesday 19th March to allow for major preliminary work as reported by Kenya Airports Authority (KAA).
The closure follows a three day notice issued by KAA informing the general public that they will be carrying out civil works at the Kisumu International Airport.

The civil works targeting to improve aircraft operations at the airport began on 18th and will end on 28th of March.
During this period the runway will be available for flight operations from 06:45am to 07:00pm after which it will be closed for scheduled work.
