The body of a female student of KMTC in Homabay County was on Sunday found dead by neighbours in her house with her body decomposing.
The deceased identified as Emily Chipkemboi is reported to have gone missing from Friday and none of her friends could know where she was. They even thought that she had traveled over the weekend.

Her neighbours who are also fellow students were attracted by a foul smell from her house only to be greeted by a swolen body lying on the bed before calling in the police.
It is believed that Emily must have a male company at the time who may have committed the crime before locking the door from outside and running away without anyone noticing.
Investigations into the incident have been launched with the police working hard to know who could have been with the suspect on the fateful day. Students from KMTC called on the police to ensure that justice is served accordingly.
Those living next to the deceased confirmed hearing loud music from her house on Friday but things went silent ever since to Sunday when her body was found.
