KNBS to reward enumerator who kept a smile during census

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, KNBS has called on information that would lead to the celebration one enumerator.

The enumerator in question has been trending on social media after he was spotted dancing along with children who were excited of the Census exercise.

“You showed up put in the work, and put a smile on someone’s face, we celebrate you today. Anyone with information that could help us celebrate this Enumerator Kindly inbox. Thank you!” Said KNBS.

The same enumerator has also been taped counting street children the county of Kericho as he is being applauded for his work.

The exercise which is to end up on Saturday night has also seen other Kenyans praising his efforts for ensuring everyone is counted.

“This guy does a great job. He personally combed the town to ensure some of us who had not been counted are in the stats. I witnessed his efforts to net in all street families in Kericho Town. Reward Kiprono Chokosh.”

Kenyans who may have not have been counted as the close of Saturday midnight have been advised to called toll free number 0800221020 or contact the nearest chief’s office.

“In case your household has not enumerated you are advised to contact the toll-free line or the local chief who will contact the census team for you to be enumerated.”
