Kenya Airways is on the spot for deploying its crew who should be on quarantine.
In a statement issued by the Kenya Airline Pilots Association, KALPA accused Kenya Airways of continuing with their duties with staff who should be under quarantine.
They further said their action does not only risk the lives of the crew but also other people who come into contact with them.
- Kenya Airways set to send employees on unpaid leave
- Kenya Airways suspends flights to and from Khartoum
KALPA termed the behavior as reckless and contrary to medical protocol risking the lives of the general public at large.
Engineers, in particular, have been noted to stay back when others proceed to self-quarantine.
It is their humble request that the management of KQ looks into the issue and ensure that they are tested and allowed to quarantine.
