Lari MP Jonah Mburu released on 2M cash bail

Lari MP Jonah Mburu has on Tuesday been released on Ksh 2 million or an alternative of Ksh 5 million bond after denying graft charges.

Appearing before Anti-corruption court Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti, the Lari MP and three NG-CDF officials were blocked accessing their offices.

Other companies implicated in the graft charges include Claymug General Suppliers, Kienjeku Textiles and Uniforms General Suppliers, Rumuli Limited, Ndemeki Limited and Kimondo and Sons General Supplies.

The officials arrested and charged alongside Hon. Jonah Mburu include Grace Muthoni Macharia, Peter Mugo Mwangi, Ayaan Mahadhi, Paul Nyanjui and Francis Gachoka Kamuyu.
