Former NTV presenter Larry Madowo has been promoted by CNN from being their Nairobi-based correspondent to their International correspondent.
The good news was also confirmed by Larry himself who changed his social media bio to reflect his present position as well as his previous place of employment.
Starting his journey at the age of 20, Larry worked for Kenya Television Network (KTN) and his name became famous among Kenyans at NTV where he hosted the Trend an entertainment show at NTV.
He quit the Kenyan-based company and moved to BBC where he worked as their Washington-based correspondent.

CNN poached him and quickly relocated back home working in Nairobi where he has done a number of eye-catching interviews with the last one interviewing Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on the country’s preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking after joining the American-based company, Larry expressed the honour attached with working for an award-winning company in the world.
