Lawrence Warunge, the prime suspect in the murder of his family members will remain in custody for 14 days to pave way for investigation.
The suspect was arraigned in court on Monday in the company of his girlfriend as the prosecution team seeks two weeks to complete the investigation into the gruesome murder.
During this time, detectives will seek to get the DNA and conduct postmortem on the bodies to determine the cause of death and link the suspect to the scene.

Lawrence will also undergo a mental assessment in readiness of the court case as he refused to object any of the charges raised against him on Monday.
The suspect was arrested on Friday in his hideout together with his girlfriend before leading the police to where he hid instruments used to commit the crime.
The one hour search revealed how Lawrence sent his girlfriend to purchase two knives which were to be used to slaughter his two sisters who were gone by that time.
He first hit the mason in the house he was staying with a metal rod before heading to the main house hitting his mother and slitting his throat open.
His father attempted tp jump but was caught by the suspect who stabbed him several times leaving him dead. He then went to rest in his parents room before leaving the following day.
