Missing Islamic scholar and Lawyer Hassan Nadwa has been found alive in Mwingi, Kitui County as revealed by his family.
The news comes a week after he was abducted as he left Jamia Mosque and the police raided his house located in Ngong.
“Islamic scholar, academician, & lawyer Prof. Hassan Nadwa has been missing since yesterday following a raid by ATPU officers at his home along Ngong Road. He was following up on a case of two people who were abducted by suspected security agents.” Said Jamia Mosque.

One of Lawyer Nadwa’s clients Elgiva Bwire is also missing immediately after he was released and since then he has not been found.
Elgiva Bwire confessed to being a member of terror group al-Shabaab and was also linked to the 2011 terror incident at Kaka bus stage.
Four days ago, the High Court issued orders directed to the National Police Service (NPS) to avail the Lawyer even though they confirmed having no idea where he was.
