Lawyer Korir narrates winning a case against the Akasha’s

City Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has on Saturday recounted acourt case that he defeated the Akasha brothers back in 1994.

At that time Lawyer Donald Kipkorir was in his second yearof employment sued Ibrahim Akasha of the Akasha brothers a whopping 3 millionUS dollars on behalf of a Malindi family.

β€œIn 1994, in my 2ndYear of employment, I sued Ibrahim Akasha , Patriarch Of Akasha Crime Family ina us$3m claim on behalf of a Malindi family … His lawyers were SatishGautama, Aurelio Rebelo & OP Nagpal, then the biggest & most successful& senior most lawyers in Kenya.” Said, Lawyer Kipkorir.

The trial judge was Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch who defied threats and bribe offers from the Akasha brothers.

It was the first and only case that the brothers lost as narrated by the city lawyer whose life as a lawyer grew.
