Mr. Nelson Havi has been replaced by Mt. Kenya branch chairperson and Lawyer Linda Kiome as confirmed by the Law Society of Kenya secretariat.
The decision was reached by a consultative meeting held by the society’s branch caucus that settled for Lawyer Kiome as his replacement and Mr. Mathew Nyabena as the Vice-Chair.

The exit of Havi follows a directive by the High Court to convene an annual general meeting within the next 21 days or else the affairs of the society will be taken over by LSK Chairs, a notice that expired on January 10th.
Since declaring his interest in the coming elections, Nelson Havi was reluctant to follow the court orders and instead focus on his ambition to become the next Westlands MP.
Havi has been vocal in his campaigns as he echoed the sentiments of his party leader and Deputy President William Ruto.
