Lawyer Onesmus Makau whose hands were chopped off dies

Lawyer Onesmus Makau whose hands were chopped off by a female police has succumbed to the injuries at KNH.

Confirming the news was the Law Society of Kenya Eastern branch who said the lawyer died while receiving treatment.

The news come at a time when the female police identified as Nancy Njeri is still in police cell pending prosecution.

Detectives are still investigating the matter after Nancy claimed to have cut off his hands as he attempted to rape her.

The claims have since been denied with sources revealing that two were lovers and had fallen out before the incident happened.

Law Society of Kenya led by President Nelson Havi will challenge the defense team as the case is set for hearing on October 28th.
