Lecturer arrested as son’s decomposing body found

A lecturer at the University of Nairobi has been arrested following the discovery of his son’s decomposing body.

The body of his son was found by detectives at his South B house in Nairobi as reported by Citizen TV.

An investigation into the issue further revealed that the mother of the deceased knew of his son’s illness.

She, however, revealed that she could not take the boy for treatment as it is against their religion something that could have led to his death.

Neighbors who suspected the incident are said to have called the police who then took over the matter.

The lecturer has since been arrested and he is being held at the Industrial Police Station as investigations continue.
