A Deputy OSC stationed at Likoni Mombasa has on Thursday night shot dead a woman before killing self in Mtongwe.
Joab Omondi the Likoni police boss is said to have gunned down 25-year old Ms. Peninah Kaimenyi who was a bar attendant after an argument ensured between the two.
The Deputy OSC is a well-known customer at Lovely Bar and on Thursday night at around 11:40 pm he is said to have used his Ceska pistol and shot the attendant on the head without blinking.
Efforts to save the life of the attendant were futile as she was pronounced dead as she was being rushed to Coast General Hospital for treatment.
Ms. Peninah’s body has been persevered at Coast General Hospital as 11 rounds of aminations were recovered at the scene of crime.
Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the cause of the argument.
