World Greatest footballer Lionel Messi has informed Barcelona of his intention to leave the club immediately and on free transfer.
The news comes after the forward informed the new coach Ronald Koeman of his current mindset that he feels left out of the squad.
It is reported that the news has seen Barcelona convene a meeting to discuss the matter at hand with urgency.

They have however declined to leave him go for free but instead want his 700 million pound release clause to stand.
The release clause hangs in the balance as it is set to expire in May next years and if things stand as they are then he will leave on a free transfer after consulting various clubs.
