Liverpool came from behind to beat 17th placed side Burnley at the Anfield to come a point behind league leaders Manchester City.
Burnley scored early in the 6th minute through Ashley WestWood who scored directly from the corner.
Liverpool trailed for only 13 minutes before Roberto Firmino scored from a blocked Mohamed Salah’s cross bringing the game back to life.
10 minutes later Sadio Mane doubled the lead for Liverpool curling a shot past Burnley goalkeeper Heaton sending them in a lead in the first half.
Roberto Firmino scored the third goal for Liverpool in the 67th minute following a poor clearance from Heaton.
Burnley pulled one back in the extra time through Johann Berg who shot from 6 yards away but it was sadio Mane who sealed the three crucial points for Liverpool scoring two minutes later.

The win keeps Liverpool in the second position, a point behind leaders Manchester City and 12 points clear of third placed Tottenham Hotspurs.
Tottenham suffered a humiliating 2-1 defeat at Southampton who came from behind to bag three points.
Manchester United will on Sunday visit Arsenal at the Emirates and if they win, they might overtake Tottenham in the third place.
