Liverpool keep tittle chase alive winning against Tottenham

Liverpool retained their tittle chase with a crucial win against tough side Tottenham at the Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool opened scoring in the first half from a wonderful header before Lucas Moura equalized for the visitors putting the game level.

Liverpool were about to lose ground on Manchester City who won 2-0 against Fulham on Saturday but a last-minute twist of events gave life to the stadium.

Spurs failed to clear Mohammed Salah’s corner header that fell on the legs of Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld netting an own goal.

Liverpool sit two points clear of Manchester City who still have a game in hand and on the hunt of the Premier League trophy as well.
