Former NTV presenter Lolani Kali has come out seeking for financial aid after losing his job some years back.
The Malimwengu presenter is among Nation Media employees who were sent home during a mass firing spree back in December 2017.
The plight of the former journalist was brought to light by one Ahmed Mohamed who begged to know his whereabouts.
Fortunately he managed to trace him through a Chief Inspector before he had a one on one conversation with him.
It was during the conversation that he revealed that life was tough for him pleading with well-wishers to come to his financial aid.
“Few days ago I asked about the whereabouts of journalist Lolani Kalu. Today Chief Inspector Siyat of Kaloleni Station has found him. I have spoken to Lolani. He is going through hard times & seeking for your help. His number is 0720554930. Kindly send him what you can. Thanks.” Said Ahmed.
According to a publication by Kahawa Tungu, Lolani managed to open a media company which has been performing poorly. A conman swindled his savings amounting to Ksh 1.5 million.
