Five people are feared dead after a vehicle they were in was involved in an accident at Londiani, Kericho County.
The Saturday accident involved a lorry and five other vehicles which collided causing the death of the five people.
Speaking to the media, Musa Kongoli, Londiani OCPD confirmed that the truck driver lost control before colliding with a matatu that was heading to Nakuru from Kericho.

Multiple vehicles were crashed in the process before it was confirmed that three men and a woman died in the accident.
According to the OCPD, the deceased were from a matatu believed to be the one that collided head-on with the lorry.
He mourned their death as he confirmed that the lorry driver sustained injuries before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Saturday afternoon accident saw 12 other people sustain injuries and were rushed to nearby hospital for medical attention.
In October last year, a bus belonging to Green Line rolled at Fort-Tenan killing 52 people in the process.
The morning accident is reported to have occurred when the bus hit the guard rails before rolling down the valley.
The death toll when some of the injured passengers died while undergoing treatment in Kisumu or on their way to the hospitals.
In November, a bus belonging to Modern Coast killed one person when it rolled at Brooke, Kericho County.
The midnight accident accident happened when the bus hit a bump before losing control and finally rolled over.
