Police in London have on Saturday arrested over 150 protesters opposed to the lockdown imposed in the city.
The protesters took to the streets angered by the restrictions brought about by the spike in COVID-19 restrictions.

According to the police, some of the protesters were violating the laid down COVID-19 restriction thus they were arrested so as to enforce the law.
The police had previously issued a warning to anyone planning to attend the demonstration as some are reported to be planning to disrupt the transport system.
Other protesters are reported to have been in possession of drugs and they later attacked the police enforcing the law thus the arrests.
Lockdowns in the U.K have been enforced now and then due to the rising cases of the virus and have been effective to fight the disease.
