Two people are feared dead after a lorry ferrying cement from Kisumu veered off the road ramming into residential houses in Homabay County.
The Saturday morning incident left several members of the family with injuries and were rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.
“A trailer ferrying cement rammed into residential houses in Homa Bay town, killing a 70-year-old man and his 12-year old grandchild at around 4am this morning.” Said Thika Town Today.

In other news, a family in Mwea is calling for police help after their newly buitl house was torched by unknown people on Friday night.
According to the family, they were preparing to hold a celebration before they officially welcome their mother into her new house on Saturday when they learnt of the news.
They cry foul play as the house is located far from the town and is not connected with electricity which could have been the cause under investigation. They recovered a bottle with petrol within the compound suggesting someone or some people are behind the attack.
