Liverpool are on the verge of signing Luis Diaz from FC Porto with both sides set to complete the necessary paper works.
The news follows a personal agreement between Diaz and Liverpool to join the Premier League side immediately.
“Liverpool and FC Porto are preparing paper works in order to complete Luís Diaz deal as soon as possible. Clubs discussing on final details – while Diaz has agreed personal terms to join Liverpool immediately.” Said Fabrizio Romano.

The arrival of Diaz will create competition between the Colombian and Sadio Mane whose form has been questionable recently and could be offloaded by Jurgen Klopp.
At FC Porto, the Colombian has netted 16 goals from the flanks and helped his side take pole position and remain unbeaten.
Liverpool is also working on extending Mohammed Salah’s contract which is set to end at the end of the season. Salah has proved to be an important player for Klopp.
