Former Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has left the Spanish national team and will instead return to club football.
The news follows a successful internal meeting between both parties as revealed through a statement by the national team.
The news comes at a time when Spain was knocked out of the FIFA World Cup on penalties by Morocco thanks to three saves from Bono.

Replacing Enrique is Luis de la Fuente who was the head coach of the Spain U21 team. Both the national team and de la Fuente signed the agreements.
