Machakos County to rename road in honour of Sonko’s late dad

Machakos County Assembly has passed a motion to rename Mua-Kaloleni road to Kivanguli road in homour of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s late dad.

Breaking the good news was Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who said that “I want to thank the Machakos County Assembly for passing a motion to rename the Mua-Kaloleni road to Kivanguli road in honour, my late dad, Gideon Kioko Kivanguli.”

The late Gideon Kioko Kivanguli is said to have played a key role in the development of Mua Hills and the larger Machakos County.
