Machakos man pleads guilty to sexually abusing young boys

Mr. David Mutuku, a man arrested and charged for sexually assaulting young boys at the Martyr’s Children’s Home in Machakos has pleaded guilty.

David Mutuku was arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday.

“Yesterday, officers based in Machakos arrested Mr.David Mutuku Katuku aged 23years who is accused of sexually assaulting several young boys at the Martyrs of Uganda Children’s Home in Kimutwa-suspect had been at large after the allegations prompting a Warrant of Arrest.” Said DCI

Appearing before Machakos Resident Magistrate E. Analo, David pleaded guilty to one count and denied eight others.

He will however remain in custody after the Magistrate ordered for a pre-bail report to be prepared and presented in court on whether to release him on bail or not.
