Madaraka Express to add more coaches

Yesterday the Kenya Railways announced a major plan of adding five more economy class coaches.

The extra coaches will be added to its Nairobi-Mombasa and Mombasa-Nairobi Madaraka Express trains on all Friday,Saturday and Sundays.

In a statement Kenya Railways said “We are adding five economy coaches to Nairobi-Mombasa and Mombasa Nairobi Madaraka Express trains on all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.”

The extra coaches will see the number of passengers increase by 590 on each trip creating more convenience for passengers traveling on weekends.
