Malaysia swear in 92 year old as Prime Minister

Mahathir Mohamad of Kwala Lumpar led the opposition to a stunning victory in the general election.

Mr Mahathir took oath of office on Thursday becoming the world oldest government official at 92 years.He won the election after his coalition Pakatan Harapan won 113 of 222 seats in the parliament lower house.

Pakatan Harapan coaltion takes over from Barisha Nacional coalition which has served for more than 60 years which Makathir used to serve as Chairman.

 Dressed in tradition Malay attire,he pledged to serve the country and the people.
