Police in Nakuru have arrested a man accused of stabbing to death his 25-year-old wife before attempting to take away his life.
The suspect identified as Paul Ochieng is reported to have fallen out with his wife before stabbing her in the chest leaving her dead early morning.
Neighbours at their Stadium flats were drawn by the commotion and were shocked to find the body of the 25-year-old woman in the house. Aware of what was going on, Ochieng went through the bedroom and jumped off the fourth floor.

He however sustained serious injuries on his limbs before the police were called in to the scene. He was taken in for treatment and is under heavy police guard before is taken in to answer to the crimes.
The body of the deceased was taken to Jack hospital pending postmortem to determine the cause of death and gather enough evidence to prosecute the suspect.
The news comes barely two days after a foreigner threw his lover through the balcony of Sunny Side apartment before taking off in Nyali, Mombasa County.
“In a shocking trend that has rocked the coastal region over the past few days, Nyali-based detectives are pursuing a man suspected to have murdered his lover at 3am today morning, by throwing her from the balcony of their bedroom in Nyali’s Sunny Side apartments.
The suspect believed to be a foreign national immediately fled the scene after committing the crime in the devils hour, leaving other holiday makers in the apartment heavily shaken.” Said DCI
