Quick goals by Gundogan and Torres gave the host a two goal advantage before Xhaka was sent out after receiving a straight red card due to tripping. Gabriel Jesus ensured it was 3-0 before the break thanks to a Jack Grealish assist in the 45th minute.
Mohamed Elneny came in the second half for Saka but barely seven minutes in Rodri netted the fourth of the day before Torres doubled his tally and ensured maximum number of points and goals were collected.
The loss leaves Arsenal at the bottom of the table without a single goal in their third fixture. It is the worst start of the season for the Gunners.
