Manchester City tear apart Schalke in the Champions League

Premier League leaders Manchester City thrashed apart Schalke 7-0 in the Champions League round of 16 to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Manchester City opened the scoring in the 35th minute through Sergio Aguero who then doubled the lead three minutes later.

German forward Leroy Sane made it three for Pep’s side whoat that time had already split apart the German side.

Manchester City scored all three first-half goals in a span of seven minutes taking a comfortable lead in the first half.

After scoring in the first half, Sane set up one for Raheem Sterlingwho smashed home from the top corner making it four.

Silva made it five from another Sane assist before substitute Foden rounded the goalkeeper making it six for Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus of Brazil sealed the humiliating defeat sixminutes to the regular 90 minutes of the game curling a wonderful strike.
