Cristiano Ronaldo has opened the Pandora’s box on his fading relationship with Manchester United and the future of the club.
In an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo confessed that the club has lacked a sense of direction ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left. He even confirmed his discussion with the former manager that saw his return to Old Trafford instead of joining rivals Manchester City.
“Nothing has changed here since Sir Alex left. When I decided to return to Manchester United, I followed my heart”.

“Sir Alex Ferguson said to me: ‘It’s impossible for you to come to Manchester City!’. Said Cristiano
The 37-year-old continued by revealing how the club betrayed him and that it has tainted him as the black sheep of the team.
“Man United tried to force me out. Not only the manager, but also the other guys who are around the club. I felt betrayed”.
“I feel that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United, not only this year but last season too” said Cristiano
In regard to his relationship with Erik Ten Hag, the Portuguese international revealed how he does not respect him as he neither respects him. He called on the club to rebuild from scratch even if it means starting with him.
