Margaret Nyakang’o nominated new controller of budget

Margaret Nyakang’o has been nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as the new controller of budget.

The Tuesday nomination will now be followed by a vetting process held by the Finance and National Planning Committee.

Margaret Nyakang’o will replace the outgoing controller Agnes Odhiambo who served for eight years since her appointment in 2011.

Before her nomination, Margaret currently works at the office of the Kenya National Bureau.

She is a qualified CPA holder and a member of the Association of Women Accountants.

Her CV also includes a Bachelor of business administration from the UK in addition to being an inspiration and mentor to young women.
